Microne Fine Neutral® is a natural toned microcement that is best applied unpigmented over Clay One Rustic.  It benefits from both the organic aesthetic of earthy materials and the superior technical performance of a Cemher microcement. Incredibly natural, stony patina for a time-weathered look. This exciting new product can be used on almost all surfaces including bathrooms & outdoors.

Uses / Areas of Application

Unlike other mineral coatings, Microne Fine Neutral® comes ready to use, eliminating mixing errors and reducing application time. Its consistency and body allow it to be worked with different tools to achieve more organic or mineral effects, depending on the pressure and movement of the applicator.
Fully waterproof and requiring no catalysts, Microne Fine Neutral® stands out as a new-generation technical and aesthetic solution, designed for projects seeking natural visual character, structural solidity, and timeless finishes.

The formula of the Microne Fine Neutral® microcement line, is characterised by being incredibly versatile, as it consists of two possible products in one.

Microne Fine Neutral® can be applied in a single-component, as ‘ready-to-use’ microcement with a hardness of 27 MPa. Choose Microne Fine Neutral Plus ‘dual component’ microcement with the addition of Microne Plus Comp B (Catalyst), which increases its hardness to 50 MPa.

Microne Fine Neutral® ‘ready to use’ has an incredible elasticity, which makes it forgiving on small movements in the substrate.

Unlike may microcements on the market, Microne Fine Neutral is completely waterproof, even before sealers. This is essential for wet environments like showers, wet rooms and bathrooms. Where it does the jobs of a tanking product and a decorative surface finish in one.

Thanks to its high impermeability it is not necessary to apply pre-sealers, two coats of AquaMax is enough to avoid dust and stains. Which, due to the low absorption rate of Microne Fine Neutral, is extremely easy to apply.

Microne Fine Neutral facilitates one of the quickest microcement installation times known at 3 – 4 days.

Microne Fine Neutral is the ideal choice for:

• Tanking and decorating shower enclosures, shower trays, wet rooms and bathrooms
• Highly decorative continuous coatings for interior floors, walls and ceilings
• Coating of interior and exterior furniture, shelves, kitchen countertops, counters
• Not suitable for swimming pools or continuously immersed surfaces
• Covering of old ceramic tile surfaces

Microne Fine Neutral® is pre-mixed, and only comes in one colour. All you need to do is give it a good mix to loosen it.

To do this, mix thoroughly with a microcement mixer head attachment on a cordless drill.  If it still feels stiff, you can add up to 10% water to loosen & mix further.  That’s a maximum of 1l per 10kg.

Let the mixture rest for a few minutes before applying.

To get the rustic effect, apply a thin coat of Microne Fine Neutral over Clay One Rustic.

The Fine microcements are very thin, and they are intended to be applied very thinly. Make sure you apply them with no depth at all, even into the corners. It doesn’t have the body to be applied thickly, so it will eggshell anywhere that it is too thick.

To get the rustic effect, you want to be able to see the coarseness of the Clay One Rustic through the fine coat.

So, apply it very thinly, using the same technique as you did for the previous coats.

Smooth the product over the Clay One Rustic without adding any depth.
