Aqua4ma Wet Room System
This is the ideal system for wet rooms and showers, the panels and trays are completely waterproof and rigid, with the falls built in so that the water flows towards the waste.

Well Consolidated & Completely Flat
Make sure the tray is well glued and screwed in place to eliminate any chance of movement. Countersink screw holes.
The solvent weld bonds the edges of the panels together very well. It can also be used to flush joins between panels & cures within 30 minutes allowing you to sand it flat.
For larger voids, use Cemher Joint Filler to level surfaces. Joint Filler can be sanded within 12 hours depending on the conditions & depth of fill.
Preparing the Waste
Insert the grill retainer into the waste so that it sits level on the base of the waste plate. You’ll notice it sits slightly above the surface of the shower deck, so creates a perfect edge for you to work up to with the microcement.
Use gaffa tape to cover the entire waste up to the edges of the grill retainer. Take some time to tape it carefully, so that you have nice clean edge to work up to.
Around the Tray
If you are microcementing the floor outside of the shower tray, as well as the tray itself, the tray must be flush with the boards, ridges will highlight in the microcement surface. There must be no voids.
Be aware that the microcement is a very thin coat will follow the contours of the substrate it is going onto, so make sure all surfaces are smooth.
Internal Corners (Between Wall & Floor/Tray)
There must be no voids between the wall & floor. If you are fitting the boards yourself, use solvent weld along the bottom edge of the boards and squash the boards down to the tray/floor.
Don’t smear silicone on the surface, instead, let it ooze out and razor scrape off the excess once it is dry. Use self-adhesive corner mesh to bridge the internal corner.
