  • Waterproof microcement for swimming pools & external surfaces
  • Advanced mixing & trowel skills required
  • Unprecedented resistance to compression, impact & abrasion

Uses / Areas of Application

Micropool® is a high-performance microcement designed to be used as a continuous coating in swimming pools. This bi-component microcement, must be mixed with Micropool Comp B prior to application, once mixed it has a working time of 45 minutes – 1 hour.

Cemher have established a delicate balance between breathability and water resistance with the creation of Micropool. It’s important to follow the recommendations regarding sealers to ensure the surface is allowed to breath.

Characteristics / Benefits

  • Excellent workability
  • High adhesion to mineral surfaces
  • Very good resistance to chemical agents including chlorine and salt water
  • Very good resistance to abrasion
  • More waterproof than conventional microcement systems.
  • Suitable for application on horizontal and vertical surfaces

Mix the Micropool Comp B into the Micropool. Mix thoroughly with a microcement mixer head attachment on a cordless drill.

Once mixed, you will have around 45 minutes to work with it, depending on the conditions, so you may want to mix it in smaller batches until you get a feel for it.

Let the mixture rest for a few minutes before applying.

Using a Microcement Trowel, work your way out from one corner creating a random edge pattern. Keep trowel movements small and random, avoid long sweeping arches – as these will show through to your final finish.

Use the grain in the microcement as your level – if you apply the microcement thicker than the size of the grain, the finish won’t be as strong and will require a lot more sanding. Run the trowel back over each section that you have put down to smooth it out and remove excess product.

Completely cover each surface without stopping.

Run your finger or a corner trowel along internal corners to push the microcement into the corner and then gently trowel away the excess product.
