Applying Oxhider Sealer
Follow the directions below to apply the Oxihder Sealer. This is applied as a final sealer coat for oxidised Micrometal surfaces to prevent transference from the surface onto clothes and other items.

Introduction to Oxhider Sealer
Oxhider Sealer is applied on top of Micrometal once oxidation has taken place and desired finish has been acheived. This gentle sealer will have minimum visual impact on the surface.
It restricts further oxidation and prevents the liquid metal finish from transferring onto clothes and other items that may come into contact with the wall – it’s not enough to block water completely, so we’d only recommend this kit for feature walls in dry areas.
Prepare the Surface
Once you’re happy with the level of oxidation, spray the surface with water and dab with a sponge to remove the excess water.
Leave to dry, minimum 24 hours before sealing it with the Oxhider Sealer.
Apply Oxhider Sealer
Use a medium pile roller to apply the Oxhider Sealer evenly across the entire area.
Starting in one corner, apply the Oxhider Sealer in an area and then go back over it very gently with the roller to remove any excess product, air bubbles and lines.
Work quickly & randomly keeping the edge wet.
Ensure you cover the full area with Oxhider Sealer and use the full amount provided.
